While The Langford opened its doors in 2018, the heritage of the community dates back over 60 years. As a member of Methodist Retirement Communities, an organization originally founded in 1962, The Langford stands on a long legacy of faith-based, mission-driven senior housing and services. The Langford joins its sister community, Crestview in Bryan in proudly serving the Bryan-College Station area as the only non-profit, continuing care retirement communities. With a long lineage of excellence, The Langford delivers exceptional service, driven by a heart for the mission of the organization, to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love. Since opening, those in the know have been buzzing about the uniqueness of Independent Living at The Langford. An innovative, low-density design means there are no extra-long residential hallways. Instead, each floor has a small cluster of neighbors with spacious condo-style flats, each with larger than average square feet. This smart design means each residence has windows on multiple sides, allowing for more natural light than what is found in standard senior living apartments.
